CEO Brian Good has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate both on the equity and finance side. As CEO of iBorrow, Brian oversees the operations and investments of iBorrow, and serves on its Loan Committee. Brian started as a corporate real estate transactional attorney and then formed Eagle Group, LLC a fully-integrated real estate company handling all aspects of a large integrated commercial real estate portfolio. Brian has moderated and served on a number of panels during his career, including panels for UCLA, YPO, Bisnow and IMN. Currently, he sits on the Board of Advisors for the Ziman Center for Real Estate as part of the Anderson School of Business at UCLA, the SCGA Golf Foundation, and has served on the Boards of Brentwood School, the Federation of Greater Los Angeles, and the Guardians.
inHarlan Peltz, founder and Co-Executive Chairman, is known for his in-depth knowledge and expertise in capital markets and capital allocation. With a background in private asset management, Harlan works closely with the entire iBorrow team to craft lending structures that meet the needs of borrowers and investors, with his primary focus on identifying marketplace opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them. Harlan saw an opportunity in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis to capitalize on the unmet needs of borrowers to access capital markets and of investors to find responsible ways to generate secure yield; these insights helped to shape the formation, structure and direction of iBorrow.

Andrew Smith, Partner, has more than 25 years of experience in real estate, finance and asset management. Prior to joining iBorrow, Andy served as Chairman of the Board and Head of Originations for Genesis Capital. In his six years at Genesis, Andy oversaw the growth of the company into one of the nation’s largest private residential lending companies, underwriting over $3 billion in annual originations in 22 states, including $1.25 billion in 2017. Andy sold Genesis to Goldman Sachs in January, 2018. Prior to his time at Genesis, Andy co-founded Openarc Asset Management and played instrumental roles at Sciens Capital Management, CIBC World Markets, Cantor Fitzgerald and Chester Investments, where he was responsible for alternative investments and real estate development in the U.S. and Europe. Andy sits on the Advisory Counsel of Angel City Sports, a leading Paralympic non-profit organization creating sports opportunities for anyone with a physical disability.

As VP of Loan Originations, Mandy oversees iBorrow originations out of the San Francisco office. She is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new lending opportunities for the firm. Mandy has an extensive background in CRE loan origination, structuring, and underwriting nationwide. Prior to joining iBorrow, Mandy served as Credit Director at Tidewater Capital, where she was responsible for making strategic decisions related to acquisition financing and refinancing for their commercial real estate portfolio. Before that, she established the Northern California office for A10 Capital as their Executive Vice President of Loan Originations. As such, she originated, analyzed, and structured bridge and stabilized loan opportunities. In addition to originations experience, Mandy has a strong background in portfolio management and CRE underwriting. She holds a BBA with a double major in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and Risk Management Insurance from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Brett is responsible for overseeing the strategy and operations of iBorrow’s asset portfolio. This includes oversight of the lending portfolio, asset management teams as well as lender and investor relations. Prior to joining iBorrow, Brett was Principal at GT Real Estate, an investment company focused on real estate assets throughout Southern California. Prior to that role, Brett performed Asset Management and Acquisitions for multiple investment groups which owned and operated commercial assets throughout the Western US.

inAs Chief Financial Officer, Kehvon Thomas oversees all finance and accounting functions. He analyzes company finances and provides direction on strategic financial decisions. Prior to joining iBorrow, Kehvon was an accountant at Unisource Companies, where he performed intercompany accounting for more than 10 title and escrow entities. He was also a freelance consultant where he assisted companies with monthly reporting of financial and marketing analytics, as well as invoicing, intercompany transactions and account reconciliations.

Prior to joining iBorrow, Emin was a Senior Underwriter for HSBC’s large loan program on the west coast focused on bridge and construction loans for institutional developers and operators. As VP of Loan Processing, Shellie oversees the daily activities of the processing department to ensure that loans are processed and completed according to iBorrow standards. Shellie Ferreira has over 30 years in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining iBorrow, Shellie served as Sales Production Manager at Genesis Capital, LLC where she headed the Sales Support staff who were responsible for working with the origination team to convert a loan application into a funded loan by managing it from the origination to closing process. Prior to her time at Genesis she was with Anchor Loans, LP as part of the operations team that took the company to over $1.0 billion in closed bridge loans. Her background also includes Conventional, FHA, VA, and Private Money financing.
inAs an Underwriting Analyst at iBorrow, Matt conducts the property valuations and market analysis necessary to evaluate loan opportunities across a wide range of asset types in various markets. He is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and underwriting commercial assets to assess risk and provide informed recommendations to the loan committee. Prior to joining iBorrow, Justin worked for Coast Financial Advisors, where he provided outsourced Controller services to four client companies. Justin also worked for First Republic Bank’s Alternative Investments platform, where he provided operational, accounting, treasury, and compliance support to the platform’s 50+ investment funds.

As a Sr. Fund Accountant, Stephanus is responsible for assisting with the accounting, analysis, and reporting for our commercial real estate debt funds. Prior to joining iBorrow, Stephanus worked as a Senior Accountant at JRK Property Holdings, responsible for full-cycle accounting for numerous multifamily properties. He started his career as an auditor in public accounting. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles.

As a Staff Accountant, Jack is responsible for financial reporting, various borrower communications, accounts receivable, payment tracking, journal entries across multiple entities, loan agreement compliance, and more. Before joining the iBorrow team, Jack received a master’s degree in finance from the University of Economics and Business in Prague. Jack’s work ethic and curiosity help him understand his impact and the broader picture at iBorrow.
As a Property Accountant for iBorrow, Ana is responsible for the daily accounting and financial duties required for the properties owned by the company. Prior to joining iBorrow, Ana was a Project Financial Analyst at Ardon Construction Group where she handled the invoicing, cost racking, financial reporting and account reconciliations on multiple commercial real estate projects. Before that, she acted as a Program Control Analyst at Coverent and Mantech International, where she oversaw various projects and prepared financial reports.
